Preliminary organization

Meeting the parents to introduce the course

The meeting with parents will be held by a Teacher Associate AIGAM at the school where the courses will be held on a certain be communicated in time to the secretary of AIGAM. With the meeting we want the parents to know the pedagogical requirements of the project pushing them to promote the continuity of musical listening experience between school and family.

Preliminary meeting with educators

The meeting, lasting an hour, is held by the Associate AIGAM teacher who held the course. In this hour the music teacher will present the project to educators with some tips on which will be their role during the lesson.


Effective organization

Group’s Formation

The groups will set by educators and will always be composed by the same the children during the lessons within the school year. The number of children per group should be between 8 and 12..

Frequency and duration of lessons

The meetings will be weekly; they are addressed to the babies of the nursery and will last 30 minutes. , a time considered enough from the point of view of the attention threshold and the absorption process in relation to the musical stimuli proposed during the lessons held by the teacher AIGAM in almost total absence of spoken language.

Precence of educators

Music lessons for babies “Musica in Fasce®” swill take place with the presence of a reference educator for children. As far as it is possible efforts will be made to ensure the presence in each group of the same educator who attends lessons from week to week.

Start of course

The first moments of the meeting between the AIGAM teacher and the children will be spend on the setting in period and on the mutual knowledge. During the first meeting the AIGAM will not perform the game activities typical of the course but will start to establish a gradual first contact with the children in the most gentle way, without making direct educational proposals, but watching and starting to build a relationship of trust with them. During following meetings the AIGAM teacher gradually begins to sing for the children so to start the performances of the lesson program. .

AIGAM Teachers

Music lessons for babies “Musica in Fasce®” will be taught by a teacher Associate AIGAM who attended the National Course in Training AIGAM of 200 hours authorized by the Ministry of Education, Universities and Research, for teachers of music entitled “Music education of child from 0 to 6 years according on the Music Learning Theory of Edwin. E. Gordon “.The course is made of two levels – Basic and Advanced – and is is divided into the following subjects: Music Learning Theory (A. Teachers Apostles, A. Borsacchi, C. Fabarro, E. Papini, F. Braga); Breath-movement-voice (Professor S. Biferale) Elements of Developmental Psychology (Professor V. Ricciotti) Observation Methodology. (Professor R. Toti). Teachers AIGAM have all carried out practical and supervised training in classes of Music for babies ®. Teachers Associates AIGAM are the only ones allowed by Prof. Gordon to teach according to the Gordon Music Learning Theory (called “Gordon method”) and to use the brand Music for babies®. Teachers Associates AIGAM are supervised annually by the vision of videos about Music lessons for babies ® and attend special seminars at the AIGAM. All teachers work with regular collaboration contract and are covered by professional insurance.


Final Organization

Final meeting with AIGAM teacher and educators

The final meeting with AIGAM teacher and educators takes place to reflect together on what happened during the year and discuss the organization plan for the following year.

Open lesson at the end of Course

This lesson is designed to enable parents sharing the experience their kids face during the year. It will be organized in a precise period of time together with the coordinator and educators asylum.
NB Where, for space reasons, it will be not possible to carry out the performance as scheduled, special arrangements will be discussed with the secretary of the School.
