With the meeting we want the parents to know the pedagogical requirements of the project pushing them to promote the continuity of musical listening experience between school and family.
Preliminary meeting with educators
The meeting, lasting an hour, is held by the Associate AIGAM teacher who held the course. In this hour the music teacher will present the project to educators with some tips on which will be their role during the lesson.
The groups will set by educators and will always be composed by the same the children during the lessons within the school year. The number of children per group should be between 8 and 12.
Frequency and duration of lessons
The meetings will be weekly and last 45 minutes. Researches in the field of music and our experience working with children of pre-school have shown that it is better to work with sub-groups of up to 12 children for a time not exceeding 45 minutes rather than working with the whole class for an hour straight.
